About the Artist

In my art, I explore the layered and often contradictory dynamics of human and interspecies relationships. My sculptures, installations, and video works employ subtle movements and disquieting details to create fictional encounters that invite viewers to reflect on overlooked or uncomfortable aspects of their connections to others.
I view emotional experiences as universal and meaningful—transcending species boundaries. This perspective, informed by scientific insights and personal empathy, shapes my work, which centers on the fragility and corporeality of the living. Materials such as wax, silicone, and textiles serve as tools to reveal the vulnerability and emotional resonance of bodies.
The tactile qualities of these materials allow for a direct engagement with both the physical and psychological dimensions of relationships. By combining tragedy and humor, discomfort and poetry, I aim to open a space for reconsidering the complexities of proximity, distance, and responsibility—inviting a deeper sense of connection in the nuanced textures of relationships.
